Overview

My transition project is about the journey that I traveled/stayed in those four places from November to December 2021. It is like a mini album but with my notes and dates on it. My homepage is distributed according to the geographical location of these places, and I picked out 4 main colors from the photos.

Philadelphia

To start off, the first place would be Philadelphia, which is where I studied for my undergrad, I spent 4 years at this campus, which is temple university, and the first three were my art college. I went back to Philly for a weekend then I decided to go back to my college. I selected the color green basically because my college has a lot of green colors.

Manhattan

The second place would be where I am right now, which is Manhattan. Since I am studying here in parsons, I got a lot of chances to enjoy this beautiful city, especially the sunsets and night view are amazing here, that’s why I have a lot of them, and that’s also why the orange color came from based off the golden sunsets.

Roosevelt Island

The third place would be Roosevelt island, it is also the place that I go to every week because of Cornell Tech. I am glad that I got a chance to come up to this little island very often, it is quite nice and clean, no matter is the campus itself or the river walk, it just gave me a feeling of peace and relaxation, on this island, I see a lot of blues, probably because of the river that’s why I picked this as the main color for this one.

Boston

The last one is Boston, I went there with my friends the other day, when I went there, it was in late fall, so the majority of the trees there were very yellow, which gave me a positive and warm feeling, even though it was quite cold there. We also went to Harvard’s design school which was really cool, I love their architectures, which impressed me a lot.
